I am very impressed by the sound quality of the new French Jazz Sets 2 & 3.
The bassoons are deep and rich, with a great level of detail, and the flutes feature beautifully crafted timbres. The musette and celeste registers truly capture the spirit of French accordions, with that distinctive brightness that gives them a very Parisian character.
The dynamic response is excellent. You really feel the explosiveness needed to play swing waltzes, with a lively and responsive bounce, while still maintaining a warm, rounded tone that allows for great versatility across different musical styles.
I had a great deal of pleasure and fun exploring these timbres, and I hope you will enjoy doing the same as much as I did.
