Cartridge Replacement
1. Replacing the cartridge requires a basic understanding of the tonearm and headshell, as well as how to adjust the overhang.
2. Please carry out this procedure with care and at your own responsibility. Since this unit uses a straight tonearm, an angled headshell is required for cartridge installation. However, if the headshell is not identical in shape to the supplied one, offset angle adjustment will also be necessary, and positioning the cartridge will become more difficult. For this reason, if you are not familiar with these adjustments, we recommend using the dedicated headshell included with the product.
3. For assistance with purchasing a dedicated headshell, please contact a KORG handytraxx dealer.
4. For details on overhang adjustment, please refer to the separate document Cartridge Alignment Using the Protractor.
