At KORG we have decided to gradually discontinue the inclusion of batteries with our products. 

Why the Change?

Battery Performance: The batteries included with our products were primarily intended for testing purposes and often have a shorter lifespan due to self-discharge and ageing during transit. Hence, removing these test batteries will enable Korg to keep the cost of our products as low as possible and provide our customers with better value. Many customers will already have suitable batteries, or can purchase them separately at a lower total cost when compared to the increased cost of the product which would be necessary if test batteries were to continue to be included.

By no longer including batteries, we encourage customers to use new, high-performance batteries right from the start, ensuring a better, more reliable experience with our products.
