De Sound Librarian voor de prologue is gebruiksvriendelijke software die het mogelijk maakt soundprogramma’s en zelfgemaakte oscillators en effecten in je prologue te beheren via USB/MIDI.

* Hoe je soundpacks en zelfgemaakte oscillators en effecten moet importeren

Soundpacks worden verspreid in de vorm van preset-bestanden waarvan de naam eindigt met de .prlgpreset-extentie. Start om een soundpack te importeren de prologue Sound Librarian door er het preset-bestand overheen te slepen. Zelfgemaakte oscillators en effecten worden verspreid in de vorm van gebruikers-unit-bestanden die eindigen met de .prlgunit-extensie. Om een oscillator of een effect toe te voegen, sleep het gebruikers-unit-bestand naar de bijbehorende lijst in de prologue Sound Library en druk op de SEND ALL-knop om het naar je prologue te uploaden. Standaard meegeleverde gebruikers-oscillator: Waves

De prologue is vanaf de fabriek voorzien van één gebruikers-oscillator. Deze oscillator is opgeslagen in een van de 16 slots voor gebuikers-oscillators. Hij bestaat uit twee hoofd-wavetable-oscillators en een extra sub-wave die naar believen kan worden ingezet als bron voor ringmodulatie. De bitdiepte van de mix-uitgang kan worden verlaagd voor een lofi-effect. De broncode voor Waves is via GitHub beschikbaar als voorbeeld, samen met de SDK broncode, zodat je zelf nieuwe en unieke oscillators kunt creëren.
