A C1 - C8 detection range with measurement precision within ±1 cent supports accurate tuning across a broad range of wind and string instruments.
Adjust the reference pitch from A4 = 438 - 450 Hz in 1 Hz steps, or use Sound Out to hear reference tones across one octave from C4 to C5.

The metronome uses moving dots across the display to make the beat easy to follow at a glance. Set tempos from 30–252 BPM in single-step increments or use Tap Tempo to quickly match the pace you need. Fifteen rhythm and beat variations provide flexible options for developing timing across different exercises and musical styles.
*When using the tuner and metronome simultaneously, triplets, triplet shuffle, sixteenth notes, and sixteenth-note shuffle cannot be selected.

Connect the optional CM-400 contact microphone through the TM-1's 3.5 mm input to send your instrument's vibrations directly to the tuner.
This provides reliable pitch detection when surrounding sound makes tuning with the built-in microphone more difficult.
