Nashville-based keyboardist, Philip Towns, is making his name known and his sound heard. A product of gospel music, Towns grew up playing keyboards and organ in his parents' church in Alabama. Moving to the North Alabama area for college, he spent time playing with many of the musical legends who created the classic Muscle Shoals sound. While still in school, Towns landed a spot as a session musician at FAME studios. From there he was recommended for a touring gig with Atlantic artist, Anderson East. He now serves as East's on call keyboardist, live and in the studio. Since moving to Nashville, he's worked with top-producers like Brent Milligan and Dave Cobb, bringing a soulful vibe to their pop and Americana records.
