There are hundreds of sounds based on over 40 great-sounding synthesis algorithms, including modeled analog synths, VPM, tonewheel organ and rotary speaker, reed and tine pianos, physically modeled trumpet, trombone, sax, flute, guitar, bass, and vocals, pipe organ, analog percussion, and more - including the 16 new sample-based synth plug-ins included with version 2.0! Synthesis algorithms are plug-ins loaded from disk, allowing easy upgrades and expansion. This means that Korg and third-party sound developers can easily introduce new algorithms, or even entirely new types of synthesis.
