MIDI-Audio Synchronization
Consult the manuals for
your digital audio program
Audio/MIDI programs (such
as Cubase, Logic, Digital Performer, Cakewalk, and so on)
generally include settings for optimizing the timing of
audio recording and playback. The program may include
special tools or test files for this purpose. It is often
necessary to adjust these settings in order to get perfect
synchronization between audio playback, audio recording, and
MIDI. Consult your audio/MIDI program's manuals for more
details.
For other information on
particular audio/MIDI programs, see Software-specific
information.
