"I haven't had much of a chance to use the PX5D for recording since we just released our new record April 1. I do however use the PX5D everyday for practicing and warming up before the shows. I have no doubt that it will end up on future records, but for now I'm wearing out the metronome features for daily practicing. Being able to go up to 240bpms is really cool as well. Nice to be able to really burn every once in a while. I also use a lot of the prerecorded beats and bass lines for working on improvising. I like to throw it into some weird key that I'm not close to being tuned to and forcing myself to find a way to play in the key of the bass line. it makes you think outside of the box and adapt to your immediate surroundings. All things considered it is an incredible training and recording tool. It's small, it sounds amazing and when you don't have a band to jam with, it is the perfect backup band on the fly."
