Mac/PC software that allows you to use the award-winning KARMA Version 2.0 technology with the Korg OASYS. KARMA OASYS software runs on your PC/Mac and communicates with your Korg OASYS via a standard MIDI Interface connection.

KARMA OASYS Software Features:

• Complete access to the 400+ parameters making up a KARMA GE (Generated Effect). These parameters are mostly hidden in the OASYS with a maximum of 32 being available (per GE), but you can view and edit all of them using the software, along with the Performance parameters associated with each KARMA Module.

• Graphical editing and creation of Drum Patterns, Rhythm Patterns, Duration Patterns, Index Patterns, Cluster Patterns, Velocity Patterns, CC Patterns, Wave-Sequence Patterns, Envelopes, Note Maps, and more!

• Create new GEs, and edit existing GEs into new configurations. Download the GEs to the OASYS via MIDI SysEx Dump, or via export to a .KGE file.

• One-step MIDI (SysEx) upload/download of Programs, Combis, Drum Kits & other OASYS data.

• Import phrases and drum grooves from the OASYS's internal sequencer, or from any .MID source (such as external sequencers) and transform them into KARMA GEs. Automatically assign GE Parameters and RTC Models and instantly begin varying your phrase in the usual KARMA manner.

• Popup tooltips and context-sensitive Help provide comprehensive documentation of all features.

This third party software application is a librarian as well as a sound creation and compositional tool for the Korg OASYS. This software is compatible with Windows 95/98, ME, NT4, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista. A free trial version is available.

Logic Environment
For the OASYS users who are also using the software program "LOGIC" from Apple: This is a LOGIC environment, which supports choosing sounds by names, and is current through the STR-1 Expansion Instrument.

Also supported are 16 "track strips" - one for each MIDI channel, with every available parameter that can be modulated/controlled via MIDI. Instructions on how to set it up are included in the download. Enjoy!

OASYS Producer Preload Set
The "Producer Set" for OASYS contains the same Programs as the Factory Preload; however, they are presented in linear order arranged by Category.

This method is preferred by some users who like to scroll easily through sounds this way, and is a big advantage when sequencing and selecting sounds either internally or via Program Change from an external sequencer.

The Combinations remain in the standard Factory Preload order.

Download OASYS Song Templates/RPPR Sets

Song Templates/RPPR Sets
These files provide enhanced versions of the Song Templates that come inside of the OASYS.

First of all, a new version has been created for users who like to use the Producer Order PCG file. Read more about the Producer Preload Set.

Second, each Template has its associated drum patterns cut up and mapped into RPPR patterns for an easy way to perform and record drum parts. A complete set of instructions and tips is provided in the download.
